On offer was an incredible Merchant Navy Class nameplate from No 35023 'HOLLAND-AFRIKA LINE'. Its condition was totally ex-loco, having spent the last 45 years wrapped in the original packaging that was used by BR. Superb, never been offered for sale before.




It was purchased by tender from BR in 1968. In ex-loco condition from Merchant navy Class No 35023 - left hand plate. Withdrawn from 70A Nine Elms July 1967. Truly a superb stunning example, never been offered for sale before. In Vendor's ownership since 1968 "Never seen the light of day" in 45 years.
